We are excited to welcome you to J. Philippus Art Studio & Gallery. Below you will find a list of frequently asked questions to ensure you have the most enjoyable experience creating your own unique piece of art during your visit.
We prefer you do the same class as the group because it requires step by step teaching for the entire class. We want to make sure we are there throughout the entire process to ensure you enjoy your experience and love your masterpiece when it is complete.
Yes. We will ship the art to you.
Your artwork is usually ready in 1-2 days. If you need it ready the next day, please let your art teacher know.
Yes. You can bring food and wine/alcohol and/or drinks. We have a refrigerator and a full counter for you to serve at.
You can receive full credit to use towards another class or merchandise if you cancel a booking, but there are no refunds for cancellations.
We have the glass art class that ages 9 up to 109 years and younger than 9 can do the glass art class but we use seaglass and plastic utensils that look like glass. We also have acrylic pours that children can do. Please call the studio to request these classes.
No. You can come by yourself or with a couple people or as a group. We also have team buildings.
11 am – 6pm, Monday – Saturday
Yes, all the art is the work of Jeanne Philippus. She will also do commissioned art.
Most week days we can accommodate walk-in’s however on Saturday’s we are usually booked so please schedule online or call the studio to see if there is room that day.
We ask that only one person attend with a paying customer.
Most classes range from 1 & 1/2 hours to 2 hours.
All artwork takes 48 hours to dry. Therefore we ask that you return to the studio at that point to pick up your artwork. Please keep in mind that we are not able to store your artwork in the studio past a 60 day period.
